About the Speaker: Dr. Kaestner is a Professor in the Institute of Government and Public Affairs and a Professor in the Department of Economics of the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Eocnomic Research. Dr. Kaestner's area of expertise are health, labor and social policy. He has over 100 scholarly publications and has been awarded several research grants from the National Institutes of Health.
