Consortium Research Team Analyzes Clinical Effectiveness of Advance Directives

An interdisciplinary research team from UCSF, the Veteran's Administration, and UC Hastings College of Law just published an article in the Annals of Internal Medicine that examines the effectiveness of advance directives in the clinical setting, and analyzes potential legal barriers to honoring patient wishes at the end of life.  Click here to learn more about this research project and access the UCSF press release about this article.
